SS Helencha Group is a renowned cargo vessel owner and charterer, serving cement factories, steel manufacturing plants, grain husking plants and silos, brick kilns.

SS Helencha Group also works as a importer of various commodities, playing a significant role in meeting the demand of numerous people of the country. SS Helencha Group also carries out civil construction works, helping the Bangladesh government and its wings in executing several infrastructures. In 3 decades, SS Helencha Group now works across several business arenas.

SS Helencha Group started operations as SS Helencha Limited in the year of 1990 as pioneers in the shipping industry to solve the increasing complexity in the domestic shipping routes of Bangladesh. SS Helencha Group is a renowned cargo vessel owner and charterer, serving cement factories, steel manufacturing plants, grain husking plants and silos, brick kilns carrying raw materials like clinker, slug, gypsum, limestone, scrap, coal etc.

At SS Helencha Group we also provide well-engineered and individually tailored sea and river logistics packages to clients with cargo of special dimensions including cargo that requires specialized and careful handling, cargo with no uniform dimensions, heavy-weight cargo that requires specialized handling at transit points. SS Helencha Group transports all kinds of imported goods and cargo from the Bay of Bengal to all river ports in Bangladesh, with lighter vessels, barges, and tug-boats. SS Helencha Group also provides Dump Trucks, Cranes, Pay Loaders, Excavators, Pile Diving LSB, Fork Lifts and other required equipment for rent across wide range of applications including civil construction mega projects, power plants, factories.

SS Helencha Group imports, trades and supplies various commodities and raw materials in large volume. At SS Helencha Group we are involved in import and supply of civil construction resources, industrial grade salts, edible salts, agricultural peas, rice and lentils. At SS Helencha Group, we also trade along with our partners at three of our allied concerns: DEBABRATA TRADE INTERNATIONAL, BITHIKA TRADERS and INCEPTION TRADE INTERNATIONAL. At SS HELENCHA group, our trading body also works closely with our logistics experts, which helps us ensure our customers are always receiving purchased goods in time.

Civil Construction

SS Engineering Constriction is the construction unit of SS Helencha Group, offering a full range of solution for development of critical infrastructures required for the ease of transportation, development of education and research and in execution of various projects of the Bangladesh government.

ODC Logistics

At SS Helencha Group we also provide well-engineered and individually tailored sea and river logistics packages to clients with cargo of special dimensions including cargo that requires specialized and careful handling, cargo with no uniform dimensions, over dimensional cargo, heavy-weight cargo like heavy machinery, heavy generator, industrial boiler, factory ball mill and other complex structures and equipment used in power plant, factories and industries.

Salvage

PS Salvage is a leading offshore and river contractor and maritime services provider, and an allied concern of SS Helencha Group. It provides a full range of salvage and towing services across the country. We serve our customers when their ships are in their most vulnerable moments. We always serve our customers efficiently, quickly and safely.

Transit River Jetty

SS Helencha Group is also engaged in operation and lease of two transit river jetty at Gas Rally Ghat, Karnaphully River, Chittagong, Bangladesh and at Sumati Bala Ghat, Tulatoli River, Bakerganj, Barishal, Bangladesh for loading and unloading operations of various bulk cargo and as well as other machinery and equipment. At SS Helencha Group we are always looking towards increasing and enhancing our cargo handling capacity and network of transit river ports.

Equipment

SS Helencha Group is also involved in operation of a large fleet of various equipment which helps us execute our own projects which reduces our dependency on external resources. With proper maintenance schedules for all these equipment, we also provide these for rent to clients.

Edible Salt

PS Enterprise is a salt manufacturing unit of SS Helencha Group. Our team of engineers and chemists work hard in ensuring every pinch of salt satisfies the needs of the final customers. At PS Enterprise we use selected grade of raw materials and import only from trusted exporters overseas.

Technology

SS Tech is a green and renewable technology solution provider and partner. It was found in the year of 2016 as an allied concern of SS Helencha Group. It provides a full range of technological solutions for projects across many fields, meeting a net zero carbon emission target. SS Tech heavily deploys modern Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in developing critical infrastructures.

Concrete Block

SS Blocks is a futuristic plan concrete block production unit of SS Helencha Group. With advanced German technology and premium quality of raw materials, our products are long lasting and ensures supreme construction accuracy in any weather. Our team of engineers and chemists work hard in ensuring every product manufactured, satisfies the need of our customers and meets international building standards. At SS Blocks we use selected grade of raw materials and German hydraulic technology to ensure longevity wherever our products are used.

School

At SS Helencha Group, we truly understand the role of education in shaping the future of the country and in establishing sustainable growth. We have started Sumotibala School in Barishal to give easy and free access to a high quality education to numerous children in remote areas. Established and inaugurated in the year of 2014, the school has helped more than 10,000 children gain quality education and achieve outstanding results.

In 2022, the school has been enlisted by the Government of Bangladesh in the MPO scheme. The Government of Bangladesh now contributes to the development of the school through monthly remuneration of the school staff and tutors.
